Concord Cemetery
A grave marker is being placed in Concord Cemetery, Pulaski County, this spring. This is the information that appears on it: GOZA, "GOSEY" Isaiah 1802-1876; Mary (Jaret) 1806-1870 Parents of :Mary married 1841 James T Clark; Margaret Catherine married 1857 Smith Davis Hodren; Lewis married 1891 Nancy emma Eliza Jane; William- Margaret E. Sarah Elizabeth married 1874 Levi R Phillips Lavanda married 1873 William Day
The Goza family obtained a land patent for 80 acres along Gunlock Greek. In 1885, 2 acres was deeded to Methodist Episcopal Church South, now Concord Church and Cemetery.
There are many descendents of this family still living in this area. If anyone has additional information or know this is not correct, please reply:
